Growing up with Microsoft , it doesn't matter how "Apple" I get there still is a bit of love and pride left over in the struggling giant. That being said, I cant help but notice that while the tech world is struggling to come up with something new to catch the world s attention, Microsoft is switching CEO's instead of seizing the spot light . Im a race car driver. I see a gap and no matter how small I take it because I love adrenaline and I love getting ahead. Thats exactly how Microsoft needs to be. At this point, being a struggling tech company , I would start throwing ideas and concepts of my most innovative technology out to Gizmodo and to the other top smoking gun gossip ninnies ( keep Microsoft branding and trade marks and patents on those technologies ( lets not be stupid here)) to fire up Microsoft cred. Which ever device or program has more bite , thats what I'd start making. By that time Apple, Samsung , and the rest would wake up and start releasing their products . The problem would be that I would have already cut their audience potentially to a point where they still have some industry sway , but maybe a weeks worth of headline space . What Microsoft is doing at this moment is running defense . They are making cuts and picking new CEO's , changes that they should have done when Apple was on fire. When the rest of the industry is on fire, thats when they should regroup, observe and make changes so that when everyone cools off ( Like they are right now) , they burst out from 8th place , speed past Apple in the corner and take up the position of pack leader.
